Caribbean Stud Poker

Caribbean stud poker is a banking game. Instead of competing against other players you are competing against the casino which acts as a bank. The casino will supply a dealer. You have to beat the dealers hand and the other players hands will not affect the outcome of your bets.

Every player makes an ante bet and is dealt five cards face down. The dealer receives four cards face down and one card face up.. The objective is to get a five card poker hand that ranks higher than the dealers

After the initial dealing players look at their hands and make the decision to either play or fold. If the player continues he must make a further bet if he folds he loses his ante bet.

After this the dealer shows his hand. The dealer must have an ace and a king or higher in order to play his hand. If a players hand is better than the dealers then the ante bet is paid at evens. If the dealer does not have an ace and a king then a player is pad even money on the ante bet and the additional bet is void (but not lost). If the dealers hand is superior to the players hand then both bets are lost.

With Caribean stud poker there is little if any skill involved. Within Caribbean Stud Poker Rules the players are relying solely on luck and there is no opportunity to bluff your opponents. In pot games it is possible to win with a poor hand, however with Carribean stud poker if you have a bad hand you will almost always lose.

The odds in Caribbean stud poker are also poor compared to pot games, so if your objective is to win money you should play games where you can contest a pot. This game is more to be played for fun so if you fancy trying out a free download caribean 5 stud poker check out some of pokerroom partner sites
