With television channels and shows dominating the poker landscape, it was questioned by many people whether there was a space for a magazine dedicated to poker. Well that old doyen of the publishing worked, Felix Dennis, announced plans in August 2005 for a magazine to be launched dedicated solely to poker.

The magazine aims to target all players from the novice to the expert. Whether this broad brush stroke will prove to be successful is questionable. Will an expert player really wants to fork out a few pounds on articles that they can pick up from such expert sites as pokermirror?

Pokermirror will continue to update the media landscape, as poker fever continues to grip the nation. We will continue to review all the new online poker rooms, as well as give a balanced and unbias view of poker tournaments on TV.

The best way to become a poker expert is to play in the online poker rooms, the next best way is to watch the experts, and with the current glut of poker related programmes and channels this has never been easier.
